Middle of the Map Fest is a new festival that aims to bring world class entertainment to Kansas City. The festival will showcase 25 – 30 emerging, local and national bands. It will be held in April 2011 in a few select venues across the midtown area of Kansas City, Missouri. The goal of this festival is to promote Kansas City culture and put it to the test against national and emerging culture. Ink Magazine and The Record Machine wish to further establish Kansas City as a musical and cultural center and bring together a sense of community for local residents.
